Amidst intimate family and friends, a stunning lakeside view, and magical fireworks to end the celebration, Kristin and Chad's wedding was nothing short of beautiful. From beginning to end, I was constantly heartwarmed by the overwhelming amount of love surrounding these two.
Kristin and Chad got engaged on June 30th, exactly two years after the Garth Brooks concert where they first hung out together. Chad asked if Kristin wanted to go dancing (on a Monday night :)) and with a "yes", the two started driving down the road. Little did Kristin know though, they were headed to Eastern Texas Baptist University where they both coach soccer. When Chad pulled up to the soccer field, Kristin started tearing up as she saw the lights glistening in the distance. Chad had lined the field center with tiki torches, set the scoreboard numbers to Kristin and his jersey numbers (from when they played soccer), and posted signs along the way that read “bossier city, population love & laughter”, “Garth Brooks century link center”, and “parking garage fee hugs and smiles”. As the two walked up to the field center, a Garth Brooks playlist played on the big speakers as Chad dropped to one knee. There was a "yes" by the end of the song!
These two will be headed to Cancun, Mexico for their honeymoon. Before long, they'll be going to Zion National Park to run a half marathon in February and taking Kristin's soccer team to Costa Rica for a mission trip in March!
Kristin and Chad, I can't begin to tell you how honored I am to have been a part of your special day. Thank you for welcoming me into your lives and giving me the opportunity to capture these sweet memories for you! Love you guys!!
